I wish the police actually gave a flying fuck about hit and runs in the Bay Area. This bastard had to go all the way across a bike lane to do this, could have easily killed someone. That’s how I lost my E46 :(

I actually ride on this street sometimes. This madness happens at night. Limited access and two miles of arrow-straight road.

Back before I started documenting the things I find on Whitman Street, there were two cars that wound up on the sidewalk and in the bushes and there they sat for days. I called Hayward PD after about three days, and then again, a day later, and the wrecked cars finally went away. So much ghetto, so little care.

The good news is it’s a first-gen Expedition, so it can be replaced for approximately twenty- seven cents.

There’s a lot of burl back there with the trailer hitch, solid frame and axle. The other car must be wrecked.
